GS1 Hungary and Packaging Cockpit have entered into a strategic partnership to support Hungarian companies in preparing for the requirements of the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). The collaboration combines GS1 Hungary’s expertise in global standards and structured data management with Packaging Cockpit’s digital solution for packaging data and regulatory compliance.
The collaboration is supported by CSAOSZ, the Hungarian Association of Packaging and Materials Handling. The association represents the interests of Hungary’s packaging industry and brings together companies from across the entire packaging value chain.
Together, the partners aim to provide companies with practical guidance, reliable data structures, and digital support to navigate the new regulatory requirements. The partnership will help businesses improve transparency, streamline compliance processes and establish a solid foundation for long-term PPWR implementation.
